The Center staff work super hard to guide, entertain and supervise our children. In May, parents and children show their appreciation for the staff through a set of themed days – a flower day, a card day, a pot-luck luncheon day. In December, we have a holiday festival to celebrate and give thanks to the hard work of the staff.
You can help by organizing and overseeing an activity during the staff appreciation event. You could set up before or clean up after the staff pot-luck luncheon. One year a masseuse gave staff a chair massage – the masseuse had to be booked and donations collected to pay her.
Organization and planning of the holiday festival would help celebrate the teachers and staff’s hard work for the year. It’s also a great opportunity to create a sense of community with everyone at the ACCC.
